More Than One Path: Alumni Mapping Their Own Way Forward

At Choose901 Alumni, we know there is no single road to a fulfilling career. That idea was at the heart of More Than One Path, our recent alumni event that brought graduates together to think differently about what comes next.

More Than a Career Night

What made More Than One Path unique was that we didn’t just present career opportunities. We challenged alumni to work together, identify real obstacles, and discover their own pathways forward.

Even more exciting, we saw a lot of unfamiliar faces! For several alumni, this was their first time attending one of our events, which is incredibly promising for how we engage and reach alumni moving forward. We also walked away with valuable insight into their interests, barriers, and next steps, giving us something meaningful to build on.

Working Backward to Move Forward

A big part of the night’s success came from Choose901 Alumni Talent Coordinator Sebastian Carson. His reverse career mapping activity led to many productive conversations among alumni. It created a comfortable, effective way for alumni to identify their career barriers and work through solutions together.

Alumni also had the opportunity to engage with Sebastian in person and receive talent services and coaching on the spot. Many left with clear, actionable next steps. The night was a true testament to where our talent work is headed: meeting alumni where they are and helping them chart a path that fits their goals.
